Exchanges and Returns

Right of Free Resolution

 

The right of free resolution - a right also harmonized in Directive No. 2011/83/EU regarding consumer rights - is regulated similarly in contracts concluded at a distance and in contracts concluded outside commercial establishments. The period for exercising this right is 14 calendar days (Decree-Law No. 24/2014, February 14), starting from:

 

b) The day the consumer or a third party, excluding the carrier, indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods, in the case of sales contracts, or:

 

i) The day the consumer or a third party, excluding the carrier, indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the last item, in the case of multiple goods ordered by the consumer in one order and delivered separately;

 

ii) The day the consumer or a third party, excluding the carrier, indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the last lot or piece, in the case of delivery of a good consisting of multiple lots or pieces;

 

iii) The day the consumer or a third party indicated by him, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the first item, in the case of contracts for the regular delivery of goods over a specified period.

 

Return Policy

 

According to Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of February 14, you can exchange or return any product ordered from the Online Store within 30 days of receiving the order, provided that the products are in their original condition, except for personalized items, which are not eligible for return. The period starts from:

 

b) The day the consumer or a third party, excluding the carrier, indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods, in the case of sales contracts, or:

 

i) The day the consumer or a third party, excluding the carrier, indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the last item, in the case of multiple goods ordered by the consumer in one order and delivered separately;

 

ii) The day the consumer or a third party, excluding the carrier, indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the last lot or piece, in the case of delivery of a good consisting of multiple lots or pieces;

 

iii) The day the consumer or a third party indicated by him, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the first item, in the case of contracts for the regular delivery of goods over a specified period.

 

Refund Policy for Returned Orders

 

In the event that an order from the Online Store is not received by the customer at the specified address, regardless of the reason, an email will be sent to the customer at the email address provided during registration, shortly after the order is received at our facilities. This communication allows the customer to specify a new delivery method or cancel the order (except for personalized items, which are not eligible for return). If the customer does not respond to the communication within 15 days, returnable items will be canceled, and the respective amounts will be refunded to the customer. If the order was paid by Credit Card, the amount for the items will be refunded directly through the same payment method. If the order was paid by ATM, the customer will be asked for their IBAN for a bank transfer to be made.

 

Under no circumstances will the shipping costs of the order be refunded.

 

Can I exchange my product(s)?

 

Products purchased from the online store of Académico de Viseu Futebol Clube – Futebol SAD:

 

To return and/or exchange a product purchased at https://academicodeviseu.pt/, you need to:

 

Decide on the size you need and confirm its availability in the online store;

If your order is eligible for exchange, you must contact us via email at loja@academicodeviseu.pt to schedule a pickup through the carrier at the address of your choice. Once the product is received at our facilities, the correct item will be sent, and you will be notified by email.

The order must be properly wrapped and accompanied by the purchase receipt, reason for the return*, and must have all tags attached;

 

Note: Personalized products cannot be exchanged, and all exchanges are subject to stock availability.

 

If the product price has changed, the original price will be honored, and no difference will be charged/refunded. If the product has not yet arrived, wait until you receive it before initiating the exchange process. We will ship the exchanged product(s) to the initial delivery address. Note: regardless of the selected delivery method in the initial order, the shipment will be made through our standard service.

 

Return Costs

 

Return costs will be covered by Académico de Viseu Futebol Clube – Futebol SAD, as long as the returns comply with the merchandise return rules mentioned above.
